One of the best places ever for a food tasting was last year at 3000 meters up in the mountains in my own region Piemonte!! Not sure you all remember my post about it (click here if you need a reminder…) but it was spectacular!! So obviously we went back this year….
This morning we woke up early because we didn’t want to arrive late at Alagna. From this lovely little town (next week more about Alagna, because it absolutely deserves a post) we took the cable car up to 2974 meters!!! And as last year we enjoyed Piedmontese specialties (risotto, toma cheese, wine, various salumi, blueberries, ice-cream, etc) with a marvellous view. Much more snow this year and much more wind unfortunately, but worth a visit as always!!!
For those who are interested and are in the surroundings, you can still visit this event on the 18th of August and the 8th of September!!
