This past Saturday I had a workshop foodphotography back home in The Netherlands.
Simone, a Dutch foodphotographer who I admire for her stunning photo’s, also gives workshops at her home/studio. You can see her work on her English blog Junglefrog Cooking and het Dutch blog Simone’s Kitchen. As I couldn’t wait to learn from her, I applied for the workshop some time ago. Finally this Saturday the day had come and off I went to Almere (again by train…argh) to see for myself how you make good photo’s.
The workshop was from 10 am till 4 pm and besides many tips, explanations, questions from my side and of course photo’s we also talked and laughed a lot. Besides being a great photographer Simone is also a very nice lady and it was fun learning from her!!
It was simply a wonderful experience. I learned so much and I’m more than happy to share some beautiful photo’s (if I may say so…) with you all….
A simple salad of rucola, tomatoes, asparagus and roasted hazelnuts with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing.
Cream puffs with powdered sugar (first photo) and honey (second photo).
And we finished the workshop with a breakfast photo: yogurt with cereals and strawberries and orange juice.
Hope you like the photo’s as much I liked shooting them!!!
