Thanks so much Meg of www.megtraveling.com and www.blueberriejournal.wordpress.com for nominating me!! Please also take the time to visit their blogs!! Unfortunately I couldn’t post before and as today is the latest day to participate it makes no sense to nominate 5 others…. Sorry for that!!! To see the rules of this contest you can click on http://www.travelsupermarket.com/c/holidays/capture-the-colour/.
As my blog is all about Italy I picked 5 photo’s that have to do with Italy! So here my 5 photos:
RED – the red peperoncino from Calabria
BLUE – the stunning clear blue sea in Calabria
GREEN – the green mountains in Liguria
YELLOW – the yellow dish from the North of Italy: polenta(this time made by my aunt & uncle near Torino.
WHITE – the breathtaking view on the white snow in the summer at 2500 meters in Piemonte
Hope you enjoyed my photo’s!!

I love your choices, and the fact that you managed to restrain yourself to a theme of italian shots Brava
.
Oh thanks so much!! That’s so nice of you
red is my favourite pic.
Thanks…..do you also like to eat peperoncino??
unfortunately spicy food is causing me stomage problems. I liked them as a kid and they still look delicious to me.
That’s too bad
…. Anyway, I’m gald you enjoyed the picture
!!
I wish I was there with you in Italy! Just gorgeous photos!
Thanks BAM…and I’ll reply to your email asasp…promise!! Sorry I didn’t do it yet!
No problem! Looking forward to hearing from you and any input on places that are must stops along our drive from Marsielle along the French and Italian Rivera to Bologna, I would love to hear your suggestions. Take care, BAM
For now I would say check out my posts Flower Riviera, Dolceacqua and The principality of Seborga. The rest I will email you
Thanks so much! BAM
Great representation of the colors of Italy!
Oh thanks Ruth
Wow nice pics. The blue sea in calabria is so beautiful. I need go there at least once in my life. Also the moutains in Piemonte is very beautiful. But the pic that i like most is the delicious polenta! My Veneto origin is stronger than the calabrian sea or piemonte moutains. =)
Thanks André for your comment!! Yes, nothing can beat the origin inside you
The fun thing is that I eat their polenta twice a year, when we’re visiting them….always polenta and always delicious!! So no complaining, that’s for sure!
Beautiful photos, splendid colours. Italy has been always one of my favourite countries and your posts bring back so many memories of this beautiful country.
Ciao, Francina
Grazie Francina! So happy to give you happy memories while visiting my blog…that’s just awesome!!
Great shots! Love the red chili peppers!
Thanks Jennifer and good luck with your job-issues!!
Well done you- phew, just made it! That last shot of Piemonte I LOVE (and I hate Winter!)
Yep, it was a close call
Thanks, I must admit that I just love the photo as well. And like you I’m not too fond of winters myself. But this was shot on the 15th of August this year
I’ll have to have another look. That’s amazing!

Een beetje van alles wat zeg maar…
