On number 4 of my personal Top 5 Most Beautiful Beaches in and around Praia A Mare you will find the beach called La Spiaggia Nera- The Black Beach. It gets its name of the dark colour of the sand. It’s an idyllic beach located in the comune of Maratea in Basilicata.
